Meet Amy

In my world, music, art, food, family, spirituality, and culture are all connected—each shaping the way we understand ourselves and one another.

In practical terms, I’m a music educator and piano teacher with over 20 years of experience across a wide range of settings: from public and independent schools (Montessori, Waldorf, and Charter) to private lessons, small groups, and community programs serving learners from infancy through late adulthood.

I’m also an interdisciplinary public speaker, writer, author, and researcher of ethnomusicology (the anthropology of music), genealogy and family history, nutrition and wellness, and spirituality.

In my spare time, I facilitate an Italian conversation group within my local community.
